Ronda Rousey says she doesn’t support The Ultimate Fighter

When it comes to The Ultimate Fighter, I will gratefully apply the Brock Lesnar defense: I don’t support TUF because they don’t pay me anything. Problem solved, now leave me alone so I can pay this month’s rent five days late. That is unless you guys want to pay it. If so, drop $1400 into my [email protected] Paypal account, or feel the wrath of apathy. First come, first serve.

Truth is I haven’t really watched any of the TUFs since Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate a couple years ago. Even that season I missed the last few episodes due to me living with my ex-girlfriend in Canada. Look at that, I just dropped extraneous information on you that has nothing to do with Ronda Rousey telling Sportsnet that she doesn’t support The Ultimate Fighter.

I don’t watch ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ now that I know how much bull is in it. I don’t support it.

They [Pilgrim Studios, the makers of TUF] don’t know the first thing about fighting, they only know about reality TV and they treated us like we were ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ and not elite athletes that should be respected.

And I don’t support people like that so I don’t watch the show anymore.

Pretty intense statement considering that Ronda was a pretty stellar coach on TUF — although we all know that it should have been Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano in that show.
