Ah, man. Dave Bergel is a throwback to when human beings didn’t fully develop the part of the cerebral cortex that tells a person when they’re acting like a complete jackass. Being uninformed is something that can be remedied, but ignorance in face of information is just unforgivable.
A few weeks ago we told you about the Bergel’s anger that the UFC is offering women the same opportunities as men. We regrettably introduced this guy to the MMA world and fortunately Inside MMA has decided to send him off in style through a perfectly-timed tongue lashing from Bas Rutten and Kenny Rice. Let’s hope this is the last time we ever mention ‘Dave Bergel’ anywhere in the MMA world. He’s had more than enough time to sling whatever sexist opinions he has towards women and mixed-martial arts, which he calls a ‘disgusting, barbaric entertainment event.’ People like this exist — and perhaps the scariest thing is he has been placed in a position of power to sway public opinion. Props to Inside MMA on accepting such a imbecile on their show in order to show him the path of sports enlightenment — regardless of if he truly paid attention to anything that was being said.
