Rashad Evans is from Chicago. That automatically means he knows nothing about pizza or roast beef. For all of you who rushed to his Wikipedia page and try to convince me he was born in New York, I can assure you that people in Niagara Falls don’t know what pizza or roast beef is supposed to taste like either. The specialty in upstate NY is the ‘White Hot’, which is essentially a combination of uncured pork, beef, and veal. It’s something they do better than anywhere in the country, including Chicago. In fact, the only thing Chicago is known for (from a culinary perspective) is their bastardization of the ‘Red Hot’ – which is what upstate NYers refer to when they want a “regular hot dog”. Chicagoans then mask up their boring hot dogs with all sorts of different toppings just so they can call them their own. Granted, Chicago style hot dogs have a cult following, whereas Rashad Evans does not. He’s not sure why, because, well… He doesn’t care anymore. At this point in Rashad’s career, he’s content with you booing him. In fact, he wants you to continue booing him because deep down inside, that just means you love him. [Source]
