Dustin Poirier To Make Broadcast Debut At UFC 287, Full Team Revealed

Dustin Poirier isn’t just a fighter anymore… he’s a broadcaster.

‘The Diamond’ On The Desk

According to MMA Junkie, the former interim UFC Lightweight Champion will be apart of the UFC 287 broadcast team. Poirier is set to be a desk analyst. Michael Eaves and UFC veteran Din Thomas will join him.

This will be Poirier’s first broadcasting job in the promotion, despite fighting for the UFC since 2011. Poirier last fought at UFC 281, where he choked out Michael Chandler in the final round. 

The Rest Of The Broadcast Team

The commentators have also been set for the upcoming event. Joe Rogan is set to return on color commentary with Daniel Cormier after missing out on UFC 286 in March. Jon Anik will be doing play-by-play. 

‘The veteran voice of the Octagon’, Bruce Buffer will be the official announcer for UFC 287. Megan Olivi is the roving reporter for the night. 

How To Watch UFC 287

The main card for UFC 287 will be available to watch on ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET. The early prelims will start at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+ and the prelims start at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN+. 

Alex Pereira vs. Israel Adesanya 2 for the middleweight championship will headline the event.
