Dustin Poirier And Nate Diaz Trade Barbs On Social Media

Nate Diaz recently announced that he was not going to be attending his UFC 244 main event fight. Dustin Poirier heard this, and absolutely went in on Diaz.

Diaz was scheduled to fight Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title, at UFC 244. However he recently announced that he had gotten an adverse finding on a USADA test. Therefore, he says he will not be fighting in that bout.

Someone who is familiar with losing a fight with Nate Diaz, is Dustin Poirier. Those two were supposed to fight last year, also at Madison Square Garden. However through various reasons, the fight ultimately fell through.

Fresh out of surgery, Poirier heard the news about Diaz. Therefore, he took to Instagram, while still in the hospital bed, to start blasting Nate. First, he called himself the real BMF, with a brutal message.

“Surgery was a success can’t wait to be back better than ever! Sincerely, the BMF in the game! #paidinfull #fucknatediaz

However, Poirier did not stop there. Following that, he replied to Diaz’s message on Twitter, explaining the situation.

Moreover, the attack on Diaz did not stop there. While still in the hospital, Poirier posted a couple of Twitter videos, further blasting Nate. He went after Diaz for pulling out of both the fight with Masvidal, and him.

Nate Diaz caught wind of this tirade from Dustin Poirier. Although, it was a bit tough to miss, as he was hit at all angles. However, he was not too bothered, instead cracking a joke at Poirier’s expense.

Man there is some solid heat between Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz. Perhaps if the bout at UFC 244 gets figured out, Dustin can fight Nate afterwards.
