Nate Diaz Won’t Fight Dustin Poirier At The Co-Main Event Of UFC 230!

Nate Diaz “Officially Off UFC 230 Fight Card”, Dustin Poirier Pulled Out Due To An Undisclosed Injury

The fight between Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier should have been a real spectacle. You remember when Dustin Poirier said that Nate is a responsible guy? Well, he was right, Nate didn’t pull out. The Diamond is the one who is unable to fight. Poirier suffered an undisclosed injury. The Stockton Slugger doesn’t have the opponent at the moment.

Take a look at a Twitter post of ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

Breaking: Dustin Poirier has suffered an undisclosed injury, per multiple sources. He is off UFC 230 co-main event against Nate Diaz in New York.

A few hours ago, it was announced that Daniel Cormier will face Derrick Lewis at the main event of UFC 230 on November 3, 2018. The two will fight for the UFC Heavyweight title. Yet, the possible offers for Nate Diaz have started coming in. Unfortunately, it looks like Dana White isn’t interested in seeing Nate at UFC 230 fight card.

Nate Diaz definitely off UFC 230, Dana White tells me…

Nate Diaz could now start looking for the third match versus Conor McGregor. After fourth-round submission loss, Conor McGregor is obsessed with Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch. But looking back at the riot and tension that followed the UFC 229 main event, it is highly questionable whether this is a good idea or not. Despite UFC 229 sold the highest number of PPVs (pay-per-views), it was ended via a very shameful act.

Conor didn’t really look like himself in the match versus The Eagle. John Kavanagh, his coach, stated The Irishman made a mistake for missing chances to land heavy shots. He also said The Notorious fought too defensively.

The Notorious’ potential rematch versus The Stockton Slugger would be the war between two legendary trash-talkers. Their showdowns hold 2nd and 3rd place for the highest number of PPV (pay-per-view) buys. Don’t forget, Nate Diaz didn’t fight since UFC 202 and the decision loss to Conor McGregor on August 20, 2016.

Do you hope for Nate Diaz Vs Conor McGregor 3? We wish a quick recovery to Dustin Poirier!
