Nate Diaz Says He’s Out of UFC 244 for Failed USADA Test
The UFC may have a monumental issue on their plans for crowning a ‘BMF’ champion. Nate Diaz, one half of the main event of UFC 244, took to social media to let his fans know he might be off the card. Diaz decided to tackle a failed USADA test head-on before news broke that he popped for a banned substance. The exact substance has yet to be revealed. However, it seems like the main event of UFC 244 is in serious jeopardy.
Diaz took to social media to break the news to the media and fans. He claimed that everyone else was on steroids and he isn’t. Nate listed reasons such as not eating meat and only eating whole foods as reasons why he believes the USADA tests are inaccurate. Or, that he was unknowingly using a batch of tainted supplements.

Nate Released the News on Social Media
Nate penned the following statement on social media:
“I’m not gonna make it out to NYC for fight week next week because they say I tested with elevated levels that they say might be from some tainted supplements. I call false on that cause I only take Whole Food or natural food supplements. I don’t even eat meat. So until UFC, USADA or whoever is FUCKING with me fixes it, I won’t be competing. I’m not gonna play their game and try to hide it or keep quiet, as they suggested. I’m not going to have my name tainted as a cheater like these other motherfuckers who keep quiet until after the fight just so that they can get paid. Fucking cheaters. I don’t give a fuck about some money over my dignity and legacy. I’m not playing along with that bullshit. I’m not staying quiet and figuring it out after the fight. That’s cheating. So fight game I’ll see you when I see you. Sincerely, the realest baddest mother****er in the game.”
Fighters Willing to Step In
The UFC has yet to comment on the matter. However, tons of fighters took to social media in hopes of replacing Diaz on the card, should he not be able to perform.

Both Rafael Dos Anjos and UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman have stepped up to the plate and said they would save the event. Early reports have speculated that the UFC has been having Leon Edwards prepare as a backup in case something would happen that put the event in jeopardy.
Been told the UFC have had a replacement on standby in case of injury or unforeseen circumstances scuppering Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz.
That man is none other than Leon Edwards.
He’s been paid to be in training camp and is likely the front runner to replace Nate. #UFC244

It looks like the ‘BMF’ title won’t be coming to fruition. That really sucks for The Rock.. he really wanted to put that title around Masvidal’s waist.
