Rest in peace to the Fabricio Werdum era of heavyweight dominance. Stipe Miocic had the right game plan all along; the best way to get Werdum to stop doing his annoying/awesome/trolling Werdum Face is to punch him right in his Werdum face. For some reason, only he and his smirk will ever know, Werdum’s strategy to keeping his UFC heavyweight championship was to charge and chase Miocic until he punched him in the face.
Werdum was hit so hard, he’s lucky his face was not permanently stuck in Werdum Troll Face mode. In the moments after his knockout loss a few cameras cageside caught Werdum’s first reaction to Miocic punching his lights out. The time was now for Werdum to troll the MMA world one more time but instead we got his look of disbelief peppered with agony.
