Phil Davis Happy To Be Dana White’s Hitman

“I did some aggressive physical therapy to get back into training as soon as possible, and now I’m just getting back into a regular training routine. I can’t complain; things are really good for me right now. … I’m Dana White’s hitman. If your name is on his list, you’re next.”

Top UFC light heavyweight prospect Phil “Mr Wonderful” Davis (9-0) is busting at the seams to get back into the Octagon, and is happy for the UFC president to handpick his target. Davis was set to face Rashad Evans at UFC 133, but injury forced him from the fight, leaving Tito Ortiz to suffer at the hands of top contender, Rashad Evans.

The Alliance MMA superstar has been one of UFC’s fastest rising fighters, taking out the likes of Brian Stann, Alexander Gustaffson, Tim Boetsch, and most notably, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Davis will be eagerly awaiting the call from UFC matchmaker Joe Silva, to find out which target he is taking out next.
