Paul “Semtex” Daley Signs Bellator MMA Contract Will Participate In Upcoming Welterweight Grand Prix
Earlier this week, Bellator President Scott Coker announced a 10-man welterweight tournament, which is set to take place on Sept. 29, 2018, in San Jose, Calif, which marks promotion’s debut on the DAZN digital streaming platform.
Division’s top names added to this tournament, with a 10th participant, whose name was not revealed. Now Daley’s rough patch with Bellator is over, as he has signed a multi-fight deal, being the tenth contender added to the list of the 10-combatant welterweight tournament.
ESPN’s Brett Okamoto first reported the news on Wednesday with Ariel Helwani revealed that Daley to meet rival Michael ‘Venom’ Page in the tournament’s first round.

The hatred between two British knockout specialists Daley and Page is nothing new. Both have continuously feuded for the past several years, with trading various callouts and insults in interviews and on social media. But their fight never comes to fruition.
Daley who’s is coming off a decision loss to Jon Fitch earlier this year, which marked the last contest of his old Bellator contract. Now things smooth out between ‘Semtex and promotion, with attention can be focused on booking him against Michael Paul.
