Paddy Pimblett Claims Jake Paul Fights Are Fixed, Paul Responds; ‘I’m Sick And Tired of This Narrative’

Paddy Pimblett caught the attention of Jake Paul after claiming his fight with Anderson Silva was fixed

UFC star Paddy Pimblett is calling bullsh*t on Jake Paul’s win over Anderson Silva on October 29th.

Jake Paul earned himself some credit from fans and fighters for stepping into the ring with UFC legend Anderson Silva. While he was once again boxing a fighter with limited boxing experience, Silva’s reputation as one of the best mixed martial artists of all time earned ‘The Problem Child’ some kudos. Much of that quickly changed when Paul defeated Silva, even knocking down the former UFC middleweight champion in the final round of their eight-round clash.

It was then that fans immediately started to question the validity of the knockdown that swayed the scorecards in Paul’s favor. The Liverpudlian recently put his name on the list of skeptics, sharing his belief that the fight between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva was fixed during an appearance on ‘Pub Talk‘ podcast on MOLA TV’s YouTube channel.

“I give Jake Paul his due as now he’s training that much. He probably could beat some professional boxers. Yeah, because he’s got that much… He’s got unlimited funds and he hasn’t got to do anything else. He hasn’t got to go do a job, see what I mean? All he’s got to do is box. He gets the best coaches, he gets the best nutritionists, and stuff like that so, Jake Paul is actually not that bad now. Well, even though I think his fights are fixed.

“I don’t think the Tyron Woodley knockout was fixed because when you get knocked out like that and you land face first, if you’re not unconscious you’re going (mimics putting hands up to brace a fall). You can’t help it. It’s a human reaction. But I seen an angle of a punch he hit Anderson Silva with the other day when he sat down, and he didn’t even hit him.”

The clip in question was an alternate angle of the right hand that knocked down Anderson Silva in the eight-round of his fight with Jake Paul.

Jake Paul Challenges Paddy Pimblett to $1 Million Sparring Session

Responding to Paddy Pimblett’s claims of fight fixing, Jake Paul issued ‘The Baddy’ a $1 million sparring challenge. If Paddy wins, he gets the money, but if he loses, he has to help ‘The Problem Child’ bring UK fighters to his United Fighters Association.

“Poor Paddy Pimblett. Man, I was really wanting to like you. I really was. You got a cute little thing going for you, but then you come out and say my fight against Anderson Silva was rigged. I’m sick and tired of this narrative. It’s pathetic. It’s stupid. You’re disrespecting the own GOAT of your own sport. You’re saying that Anderson Silva is a criminal. You’re saying he’s a fraud. You’re saying that Viacom, one of the biggest media companies in the world is doing criminal stuff. That’s what you’re saying.

“It’s stupid. It’s pathetic, but I have a proposition for you since you wouldn’t rig a fight right? Let’s spar. Fly to Puerto Rico. I’ll get you a private jet. We can do five three-minute rounds boxing. If you win, I’ll give you a million dollars which is what you deserve to get paid Paddy. You know it, but the UFC’s not paying you that. You deserve to get paid more. But if I win, you have to join the United Fighters Association and help me sign up all of the fighters in the UK. “
