MMA veteran Murilo Ninja Rua competed with the BAMMA organization today as he fought a tough Tom Watson. From the get go, Rua wanted to stand and bang with Watson. This seemed like the wrong game plan as Rua clearly has the better ground game. The one takedown Rua went for, he got very easily. After that it was more stand up. Rua repeatedly took big leg kicks which made the fighter unable to do much for the latter part of the fight. Watson eventually put the nail in the coffin and finished Rua off in what was probably a late stoppage.
