I once spent an entire week of my life watching all six seasons of 24 back-to-back. By the time I was finished, my irrational fear of terrorists had me sticking to well-lit areas and meals exclusively from street vendors. Whole Foods was off the radar because I was certain someone was ready to detonate a sticky bomb in the dairy isle. The fallout would launch cottage cheese and Greek yogurt in all directions, potentially causing paralysis, or worse, lactose intolerance. It would surely lead to another straight week of being locked indoors having to do my laundry and wash my hair repeatedly to get the bacteria out. I can never get that week of my life back, and neither can NickTheFace after he just completed this Overeem vs. Dos Santos hype reel despite a recent elevated testosterone test result that has put the fight in jeopardy. I maintain hope that this is all just one big mistake, or that Jack Bauer can come out of retirement to fix it.
