Misha Cirkunov Defeats Jimmy Crute With A First-Round Peruvian Necktie!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is invading Rogers Arena in Vancouver tonight (Saturday, September 14, 2019) to stage UFC Fight Night 158.
Welcome to the promising 205-pound bout between BJJ black belt Misha Cirkunov and the former Hex Fight Series Light Heavyweight king Jimmy Crute. The referee in charge of this bout is Yves Lavigne. Here we go!
Round 1
Misha Cirkunov attacked with a head kick, ate a body kick, but scored a takedown early on. Crute regained half-guard, he was looking to get up, but good transition by Cirkunov.
Crucifix, Crute tried to set himself free, Cirkunov transitioned to mount. Crute nearly got up, but then Cirkunov attempted a head-and-arm throw, he was looking for the opponent’s back. Crute ends up on the top of him, rains hammer-fists, but Misha went for a deep half-guard sweep. After a few shots, Cirkunov switched the strategy and ended the match with a Peruvian necktie!
