Mighty Mouse defeats Uncle Creepy and moves on in the flyweight tournament to fight Joseph Benavidez

I don’t think the Xbox sponsored Mighty Mouse could have lost on E3 week…There was just too much marketing energy behind Halo 4, the Smartglass app, and everything videogame related. Not even a mustache like Uncle Creepy’s could offset the power that was fueling Demetrious Johnson tonight. Master Chief was in the flyweight’s corner at UFC on FX 3, this we know.

Say what you will about 343 Studio’s takeover of the Halo franchise, it had no effect on the performance of Mighty Mouse who defeated Ian McCall in tonight’s main event. After three rounds of action that you would expect from the flyweights (exactly what you expect, but not as good as the first fight) the judges saw it fit to award the victory to Mighty Mouse, now he moves on to fight Joseph Benavidez in the flyweight tournament finale, much to Uncle Creepy’s chagrin.

Yes, Joseph Benavidez who I once saw eat a giant piece of bruschetta in a single bite in San Francisco.
