Michael Bisping was caught off guard by trash talk coming from Conor McGregor.

Michael Bisping has found himself in the crosshairs of some Conor McGregor trash talk. McGregor took aim at Bisping and his acting career on social media. McGregor was on a Twitter rant, verbally sparring with Nate Diaz about acting and typical back and forth talking when he brought Bisping into the conversation. The insult came out of the blue and confused Bisping.

“All these little twerps wanna be actors now. Little twerps, There’s Only One Mac Daddy. Bad to the bone but with a good heart. Action with Jake gyl or Rom com with Sarah Jessica. Bisping, member that show you were in. Ye me neither,” McGregor wrote in a now deleted Tweet. (via BJPenn.com)

Bisping has been in several films and TV shows both during his MMA career and since it has come to a close. McGregor is currently filming his first role in a film remake of the classic “Roadhouse” with Jake Gyllenhaal. Bisping addressed this attack by McGregor on his podcast, “Believe You Me.” He claims not to have taken it personally and blames McGregor’s success for his cries for attention and social media outbursts.

“He’s so f–king deluded… it did make me scratch my head a little bit,” he said. “He’s got a lot going on in his life, he’s a very famous, very wealthy man. I don’t even follow Conor on social media. I don’t interact with him or anything like that. And he’s just gonna come out of the blue and do stuff like that. I don’t get it. I don’t get, not just Conor, people that are in a very advantageous position in life and just feel the need to try and berate others’ achievements. Have you not got enough going on in your life that you feel the need to go around putting other people down? Why don’t just be happy? Why not be happy that you’re doing a movie with Jake Gyllenhaal for your first-ever job, which is f–king awesome. Let’s be honest, I was a big fan of Roadhouse, it’s cool as fuck. You know what, I’m not gonna sit here and say it’s not, it’s not a competition. I’m living my life, you’re living yours. We’re not competing against one another.

Michael Bisping Is Happy For Conor McGregor’s Success But Sends Him A Warning Anyway

Bisping has had plenty of success himself. He is a former UFC champion, current commentator for the UFC, actor, and has his own podcast. In no way does he need to sink to McGregor’s level of trash-talking on social media, but he is still not going to just take these kinds of insults.

“I remember my first beer,” Bisping said. “He’s all excited, he’s had his first beer and he’s doing a big show with Jake Gyllenhaal, God bless him. Good for f****** you. Well done. Why have you got to throw s*** my way? … Just f–king make sure you have your bodyguards behind you the next time you want to come up and talk some sh-t you little f–k,” he added.

McGregor has not fought in the UFC since July of 2021. He was healing up from injury but now seems to be focused on his outside-the-cage business ventures. He is still training and has been posting videos of himself on the mats. There is no date set for his possible return
