We could be seeing Conor McGregor on the big screen a lot more.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Hollywood actor Mark Walhberg stated his desire to get McGregor in a movie.
When the topic of the Irishman first came up, Wahlberg only showered praise on him before talking about how his son could do a spot-on impression of McGregor.
Walhberg, who is also a producer, then declared that he had to get McGregor in a movie.
“I got to get Conor, I got to get him to be in a movie,” Walhberg said. “… I’d definitely think in the right movie, absolutely.”
Conor McGregor Already Set For Hollywood Debut
Of course, it should be noted that McGregor will be on the big screen soon.
Earlier this month, it was announced that he would star alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in a Road House remake in what will be the former double champion’s acting debut.
Perhaps, we could be seeing McGregor in a movie alongside Wahlberg soon.
For now, however, it looks like McGregor is focused on a return to the Octagon.
McGregor last competed in July last year when he succumbed to a first-round TKO defeat to Dustin Poirier after suffering a broken leg in their trilogy fight.
As of today, he is now back in shape and training as he looks to make a successful comeback and snap his two-fight losing streak.
