Mark Hunt Goes Off On Dana White Hinting Brock Lesnar’s Potential UFC Return

Mark Hunt is finally booked to compete in high stakes, co-headlining fight this Saturday at UFC 221, in Perth Australia, after all the health concerns in the past.

WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar made headlines from last week that he might return to UFC octagon. Even UFC president Dana White have been kicking the idea of a return to MMA for the notable pro-wrestler and PPV attraction. During this week,

Dana White said he “wouldn’t be shocked” if Lesnar “gave it one more shot.”

Mark Hunt is not happy with Dana White’s comments regarding Brock Lesnar and his possible return to UFC.

Mark Hunt and Brock Lesnar have a history together. At UFC 200, back in 2016 Mark Hunt clashed with the current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, where Lesnar had won the bout, but it was later revealed that Lesnar tested positive for drug tests before the bout. which lead to the decision of the bout to turn to no contest. This led to Hunt filing a civil suit against Lesnar and the UFC to settle his grievances.

Mark Hunt reacted to the Dana White’s comment while being interviewed by Submission Radio.

“Well he shouldn’t be fighting,” Hunt told Submission Radio (transcript courtesy of Bloody Elbow). “He’s just a cheater. There should be a shelf for steroid users like him. You can’t tell me any different, you doesn’t deserve to be there. He took the shortcuts. And it just goes to show their credibility when they say, ‘Oh, Brock Lesnar’s coming back.’ Oh, so it’s all about money. So you don’t really care about the fighters at all. So when you said to me, ‘Oh, Mark you’ve got to go and get a test because we’re worried about you,’ you’re lying!? Yeah, I thought so.

“At the end of the day, we’re setting a bad example and the wrong example, to not only a lot of the kids coming through that want to be pro fighters at the top, you’re talking about martial artists. This is a sport of respect and honor and doing the right thing, not taking shortcuts to get to the top. Making money… this is just pathetic, that’s all I can say.”
