Maiquel Falcao and Alexander Shlemenko will fight for the vacant Bellator middleweight title

Hector Lombard may have left to the UFC with his middleweight belt underneath his clothes, but a new strap is being reconstructed somewhere with the knowledge and blacksmith level high enough to create a title worthy of Maiquel Falcao or Alexander Shlemenko. Tonight Maiquel Falcao defeated Andreas Spang in the Bellator middleweight tournament finals with a convincing unanimous decision. Now all we have to do is wait for Shlemenko to mend from a broken collarbone and dislocated thumb from a car accident in his mother Russia last month and we have ourselves quite the championship fight, yes we do.

Props and congrats to Falcao (who I always envision telling me to do a barrel roll), hopefully the middleweight championship fight can go down as soon as humanly possible.
