Lina Lansberg Secures A Dominant Decision Win Over Tonya Evinger After Three Rounds Of War!
UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is headed across the Atlantic Ocean with its UFC Fight Night 153 event. It is taking place this afternoon (Saturday, June 1, 2019), from inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
The preliminary card brings a very intriguing 135 lbs bout between the former Muay Thai World champion Lina “Elbow Queen” Lansberg and the ex-long time Invicta FC Featherweight champion, Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger.
The referee in charge for this bout is Kevin Sataki. Here we go!
Round 1
Fighters touch gloves, Evinger starts hard and pushes her rival against the cage almost immediately. Tonya goes for a takedown, but “Elbow Queen” defends it well.
Lansberg lands an elbow on the break, it cuts Tonya Evinger open. Wow, she has just justified her moniker!
Evinger again pushes her rival against the cage, shoots in, stuffed. Now Lina does a fantastic reverse, what a fight. And it seems Tonya’s cut is really, really nasty!
Excellent trip takedown by Lina Lansberg, she ends up in the full mount.
Evinger somehow passes to half-guard and defends, but Lina rains big shots from the top position. She fires punches and elbows at will.

Round 2
Lansberg lands big right hand at the beginning of the second round. Evinger uses the same strategy again, pushing Lina towards the cage.
Takedown Evinger!
Evinger is in the half-guard, controlling position. This is dangerous, Evinger transitions to her rival’s back, it seems she goes for a rear-naked choke.
Wow, what a world-class sweep by Lina Lansberg, now she is in the half-guard!
Lansberg starts raining big strikes. Evinger holds the guard, but Lina’s strikes are simply too strong and precise. Lansberg ends the round in the dominant position. Evinger must knock her out in the third, otherwise, she’ll lose this bout. The end of the round, 10-9 Lansberg.
Round 3
Evinger clinches up immediately but Lansberg reverses the position almost instantly. Now she controls her rival against the cage, landing big knees to the thighs and mid-section. Hard knee takes Evinger to the canvas. Lina simply dominates in this bout.
Lina Lansberg punishes Tonya Evinger again, landing big strikes to her head. The referee Kevin Sataki is taking a closer look, as Lina lands brutal elbows to the downed opponent. He lets them continue.
Evinger returns to the half-guard, but Lansberg dominated almost the whole round. Evinger ate so many big shots. Lansberg wasn’t able to finish her opponent, the end of the match, 10-9 Lansberg.
