How To Live Stream UFC Fight Night 153
UFC is getting back to business this afternoon (Saturday, June 1, 2019), from inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The main card streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN2.
The UFC Fight Night 153 is headlined by the bout between three-time UFC Light Heavyweight challenger Alexander “ The Mauler” Gustafsson and Anthony “Lionheart” Smith. Gustafsson is coming off UFC 232 loss to Jon Jones. The Swede previously stopped Glover Teixeira and the Pole Jan Blachowicz. Smith is the former Middleweight who moved a division up in June 2018. After back-to-back victories over Rashad Evans, Mauricio Rua, and Volkan Oezdemir, he lost to “Bones” in the main event of UFC 235 via unanimous decision.
After Ilir Latifi was forced to withdraw due to a back injury, the 205-pound match between Jimi Manuwa and Aleksandar Rakic was moved to the co-main event of the evening. Rakic rides on an impressive 11-fight winning streak, holding UFC victories over Francimar Barroso, Justin Ledet, and Devin Clark. Jimi Manuwa is looking to end his cold streak at all costs. He was defeated by Volkan Oezdemir, Jan Blachowicz, and Thiago Santos in his last three bouts.
More action in the main card includes the Featherweight collision between Makwan Amirkhani and Chris Fishgold. The things got heated at the face-off, and the Finn pushed the Englishman. Christos Giagos squares off against dangerous Damir “The Bosnian Bomber” Hadzovic, while Daniel Teymur meets South-Korean prospect, Sung Bin Jo.
Preliminary bouts begin at 10:00 a.m. ET, then the main card kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.
