It might be fair to say that Jon Jones and Tai Tuivasa are not fans of each other.
On Monday, Tuivasa shared a quick Instagram conversation between himself and the former UFC light heavyweight champion, which led him to getting blocked.
Tuivasa wrote in a Instagram post, “B WEEEEZZZZZZZYYYYY #bones you know I love you man add me back uce 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you know he want dat @drinkwest.”
The direct message between the two fighters didn’t seem too aggressive. While the first part of the conversation was cut off, Tuivasa told Jones that he would out party the former champion and that when Jones returns to action, ‘Bam Bam’ would be waiting.
“You sound off ya head. I’d out party ya too I reckon. Just sayin but yeah Mary had a lil lamb too and I smoked her whatever whatever bra when you come back. I’ll still be around you want a warm up lamb roast I’ll be waiting”
Jones then wished Tuivasa good luck with his Drink West beer company and to stop writing him.
It was an odd DM exchange.
In May, Tuivasa said that Jones is still the best fighter in the world, but he is a dickhead, which could have led to the DM exchange.
“Jones is probably the best MMA fighter of all time. He’s still a dickhead. He is what he is, I think he’s the greatest MMA fighter of all time but if you’re a fu*king idiot, you’re a fu*king idiot.”
Tuivasa returns to action in September when he takes on Ciryl Gane in Paris.
