As if the anticipation for this match couldn’t burn hotter, Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones clashed heads at today’s media event for UFC 178 which turned into an all-out melee sending multiple UFC employees flying around the stage and left Chuck Zito in a twisted mess of aluminum and and (technically) undefeated MMA fighters.
This fight better not be called off, Bones better not have opened his cut. This is what MMA needs right here. Not brawls at media days per se, but some sort of inspiration behind actions and words. I haven’t been this excited for a fight in a year or two. People will be talking. This fight matters.
