Jeremy Stephens Is Down For Justin Gaethje’s Showdown

UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje’s popularity rose overnight after starching Brazilian sensation Edson Barboza in the main headliner of UFC Philadelphia last weekend on ESPN. Following his win “The Highlight’s” ultimate goal is to get a title shot. He improves his score to 20-2 which includes 18 finishes, 17 came by way of knockout. Gaethje also said he’d take on anyone that’ll lead him toward Khabib. The former WSOF champion also proved over and over again that it doesn’t matter who comes on his way; he delivers his work and moves on.

He arguably cemented himself one of the most ‘violent man in the MMA’ according to UFC color commentator Joe Rogan.

Jeremy Stephens is another UFC fighter who wouldn’t mind fighting anyone and in response to UFC’s Instagram post where promotion asked fans who should be next for Gaethje to that ‘Lil Heathen’ said ‘sign me up.’

Stephens 32, started his career at 155-pound division then in 2013 he made his UFC featherweight debut and has been since fighting at it.

‘Lil Heathen’ is currently riding on a two consecutive losing skid. Last month at UFC 236 PPV event he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Zabit Magomedsharipov. Before this setback, Stephens lost a fight via first-round TKO loss to former UFC featherweight champion Jose ‘Scarface’ Aldo.

Meanwhile, Justin Gaethje is back onto winning column after suffering consecutive losses against former UFC champion, Eddie Alvarez, and Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier who are slated to compete for an interim lightweight title at UFC 236.

Stephen has been lobbying for a fight after on UFC 238 fight card which is happening in June. So let’s see if Justin is also down for this fight.
