When I saw this news I nearly fell out of my cheap Wal-Mart brand swively chair that is held together by a piece of a Starbucks coffee cup. According to 5oz of Pain, James Toney has signed a multi-fight contract with the UFC. Yeah, you just fell out of your chair too? See, I’m not the only overdramatic one here.

After months of speculation following James Toney making his intentions to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship public, one of the greatest boxers of our time is now set to embark on his career in mixed martial arts.

FiveOuncesofPain.com has been informed through sources close to the situation that James Toney has recently been signed to a multi-fight contract with the UFC.

Wow. This comes moments after I just argued with a guy for 30 minutes at a Thai noodle shop that boxing guys need to stop expressing their hatred towards MMA and just try it out. If only that guy can hear me now, I would seem so much cooler. [Source]
