Michael Bisping Responds To Being Put On Jake Paul’s ‘Hit List’

'The Count' takes shots at 'The Problem Child'.

Jake Paul has his eyes set on Michael Bisping for a potential opponent.

Paul is looking to get back into the boxing ring in August and is looking for a worthy opponent. While on Teddy Atlas’ podcast recently, he told the legendary boxing trainer his hit list. And boy, oh boy, there are some names on it.

Hit List

We’re still locking down opponents, there’s a lot of names,” Paul said. ” There’s Floyd Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya, Anderson Silva, Michael Bisping, Tommy Fury, Sonny Williams.”

“There’s a lot of people on the hitlist and some other names that we’re talking to, we’re just trying to see who makes the most sense…We’re trying to pick the biggest opponent, everyone I’ve fought, I’ve carried the promotion. No one has matched my star power, so [I’m] looking for someone who can match my star power.”

Bisping’s response

It did not take long for the former UFC middleweight champion to respond on social media.

“come on @jakepaul you do know I’m about your size? Surely that excludes me from your “hit list”,” Bisping wrote on Twitter.

Paul calling out a retired UFC fighter? You don’t say.

Bisping retired from the sport in 2018 and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame a year later. He has transitioned perfectly into a UFC commentator, podcaster, and analyst.

‘The Problem Child’ is set to return to the boxing ring in August, but before that, he is promoting his fighter Amanda Serrano who fights Katie Taylor at the end of the year.

  1. Paul’s right hand is on the one side Bisping can see from… (who would thus obviously win 80-72 in imagination land i.e. having previously cheated on medical tests to continue fighting Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre with further damaged rib cartilage) now can NOT get medical clearance (is not just “retired” as per article).
