  • Israel Adesanya predicted Jamahal Hill to win via knockout over Alex Pereira at UFC 300
  • Izzy thinks “Sweet Dreams” could finish “Poatan” in the first two and a half rounds

Isreal Adesanya believes Jamahal Hill is highly capable of knocking Alex Pereria out and it could happen within the first half of the fight.

Izzy thinks Jamahal got the KO power to stop Alex

Speaking on his YouTube channel, “The Last Stylebender” shared his UFC 300 main even prediction. For Adesanya, “Sweet Dreams” is coming in with zero fear against “Poatan.”

Izzy is convinced that Hill would be ready for Pereira’s leg kicks but ultimately, he sees “Sweet Dreams” taking the Brazilian out two and a half rounds into the fight.

“Jamahal, I don’t think is scared,” Adesanya said. “Jamahal has got knockout power, scary knockout power, as well. Alex can get knocked out… But avoiding the leg kicks is the tricky bit, and I know Jamahal has some remedies for that… Five rounds, going to be a slow start… Jamahal’s going to try to get his fist to Alex’s head not just the chin just like he did with Johnny Walker.”

“I’m gonna go Jamahal by knockout, first two and a half [rounds],” he concluded.

Jamahal’s power could be the difference

Aside from Adesanya, Matt Brown also predicted that Hill could stop Pereira. That said, it appears that many are not ruling out Hill’s knockout power despite Pereira being viewed as the more strategic and experienced fighter.

Regardless of what people think of Hill, “Poatan” believes that Jiri Prochazka is a tougher opponent to beat than “Sweet Dreams.” This only makes UFC 300’s main event even more interesting.

Pereira will defend his light heavyweight title for the first time, while Hill will try and get it back, having been forced to relinquish it due to his Achilles injury.
