Israel Adesanya offered advice to Logan Paul to improve his leg kicks.
Although Paul has never competed in MMA, he has established a presence in the combat sports world. The 28-year-old is signed to WWE, utilizing his amateur wrestling experience from high school, and fought in several boxing matches.
Paul furthered his skills by training in grappling and striking with Adesanya, the UFC middleweight champion. ‘The Last Stylebender’ recently uploaded a YouTuber video of him teaching the IMPAULSIVE host how to throw leg kicks.
Once they were done training, the WWE superstar looked into the camera and jokingly said:
“Dana White, what’s good?”
The video with Adesanya isn’t the first time Paul has referenced the UFC and Dana White. During his podcast episode with ‘The Last Stylebender,’ the 28-year-old revealed a shower thought about becoming a simultaneous world champion in the WWE, boxing, and the UFC.
Paul made his amateur boxing debut in August 2018, leading to a majority draw against KSI. Fifteen months later, he returned for a rematch against KSI under professional boxing rules and lost by split decision. In June 2021, the social media personality competed in an eight-round exhibition against Floyd Mayweather Jr, which featured no judges to determine a winner.
Israel Adesanya playfully body-kicks ‘Derek from Betr Media’
On August 5, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz will meet in the ring for a ten-round boxing match. In early May of this year, they participated in a press conference, which featured several intriguing moments.
During the event, a media member who identified himself as ‘Derek from Betr Media’ aggressively called out Diaz and his older brother Nick. The Jake Paul affiliate was quickly shut down by the Stockton native and scolded by the MMA community on social media.
Derek was present at Israel Adesanya’s training session with Logan Paul. ‘The Last Stylebender’ playfully insisted on kicking him in the body, leading to a funny moment caught on camera. The UFC middleweight champion ensured the infamous media member was okay before moving on.
Adesanya last fought on April 8, defeating Alex Pereira by knockout to regain the UFC middleweight champion. He now hopes to fight in September when the UFC returns to Sydney, Australia. It’s unclear who he plans to defend his throne again.
