  • Manel Kape is convinced he could beat Israel Adesanya up in a street fight
  • The UFC flyweight claims he had beaten a lot of guys as big as Izzy

Manel Kape is very confident with his brawling skills that he believes he could take Israel Adesanya out in a street fight.

Manel doesn’t care if Izzy is big

Speaking to Jaxxon Podcast, “Starboy” was asked by Rampage Jackson to comment about how big Izzy has been as of late. Kape then stated that Adesanya might be big but he thinks he could beat the former middleweight champion up in a street fight.

“I’m undefeated in the streets. I don’t give a f—k. I beat already many, many, many guys of his size. I don’t give a f—k [about his size],” Kape said. “Put him in front of me in the streets, and we’re gonna see. It’s everything in the street… I’m pretty good too, brother.”

Needless to say, it’s quite a bold claim, considering Kape is a flyweight fighter with a 5-foot-6, 125-pound physique.

Izzy has a couple of targets in his return

Adesanya hasn’t fought since losing his middleweight title to Sean Strickland at UFC 293. Izzy initially said he would take a long period of rest and being away from competition. However, he now has a couple of target opponents for his return.

According to “The Last Stylebender,” he would welcome a showdown with Khamzat Chimaev, grudge match with Dricus du Plessis and a rematch with “Tarzan.”

As for Kape, he has gone unbeaten in his last four trips to the Octagon. His latest win was a unanimous decision victory over Felipe dos Santos at UFC 293.
