If the mechanics of time was reversed roughly two thousand years ago, Shane Carwin and Junior Dos Santos would be leading a tribe of axe wielding maniacs and nimble archers into some heavily wooded battlefield on an area of the North American continent now known as ‘Vancouver.’ Instead, we get these same maniacs armed with crooked wooden sticks and heavily padded armor as they travel around a thin layer of ice for a designated amount of time.
