If you expect to see the crotch shot to end all crotch shots in this Bellator 59 highlight, think again

Props to Bellator for not including the now infamous Eric Prindle crotch shot in their Bellator 59 highlight clip. We’re not sure where Thiago Santos’s big toe went when he forcefully shoved it in the nether regions of Eric Prindle, but let’s just hope he washed it off afterward. Unfortunately due to the Santos’ disqualification, we have to wait until 2012 to see who will be crowned the 2011 Bellator heavyweight tournament champion. However, last night we saw even more Polish MMA when Marcin Held grabbed the controversial split over former TUFer, Phillip Nover. It was one of the rare moments in MMA in which judges actually scored submission attempts over non-significant punches landed, something that we need to see happen more in MMA. Karl Amoussou finally lived up to the potential that we’ve hyped him into over the past couple years and scored a mind-numbing TKO over Jesus Martinez early in the first round. We also witnessed Kurt Pellegrino retire for the second time in his career when Patricky Pitbull raged on Pellegrino’s skull, eventually TKOing him in less than a minute. Perhaps you should just watch this Bellator 59 highlight clip which illustrates everything I just told you in the form of an edited video. [Source]
