Everyone forget Gary Goodridge’s showing against Gegard Mousasi at Dynamite!! 2009. No one really knew just what the hell happened there. It was like Gary was constantly in ‘Oh damn, I’m about to get hit with a punch’ mode. Erase that from your long-term memory and replace it with that image of Shaquille O’neal starring in Kazaam. That should give you a few nightmares next week. Alternatively, you can replace it with the same Gary Goodridge that went to a decision with Paul Buentello in Affliction’s ‘Banned’ card back in 2008. If you’re not aware, Referee Mario Yamasaki is organizing a card in Washington, DC that will feature Pedro Rizzo vs. Gary Goodridge as a main event on May 15th. This will be the second card organized by Mario Yamasaki. The first one resides in a land of obscurity that can only be retrieved by the most avid MMA aficionado.
