From European fashion boutique owner to the star in a B-Horror Movie, Cheick Kongo is basically giving the finger to what fighters do in a post-UFC career and is reinventing the paradigm of being a true renaissance man.
Although I haven’t seen the straight-to-DVD/Netflix movie, it apparently revolves around Attila the Hun being reincarnated in the modern day and exacting revenge on something that really pissed him off thousands of years ago. Since he’s been dead longer than America has been a country, his face is rotted off — so we don’t get to see Cheick Kongo in his entirety. Oh, and Cheick Kongo being a UFC champion is new for me, too.
