Bellator promotion will stage the Bellator 226 ‘Bader vs. Kongo’ MMA event tonight (Saturday 7, 2019) from inside SAP Center in San Jose, California.

In the main headliner “champ-champ” Ryan Bader (27-5) will look to defend his heavyweight title against Cheick Kongo (30-10-2), who’s currently riding on an eight-fight winning streak.

Kongo has a noticeable size advantage over Bader, but that doesn’t mean he will finish “Darth” easily. Meanwhile, Bader is 5-0 in Bellator MMA and is coming off an impressive victory over legend Fedor Emelianenko.

In the co-main event, a former champions Pat Curran and Daniel Straus will clash in a featherweight Grand Prix opening round.

The main card streams on DAZN network at 10 p.m ET following a preliminary portion at 7:30 p.m ET.
