What the hell happened last night? I’m sore, my throat is burning and I woke up thinking that just about every division in the UFC outside of featherweight got shook up like a bottle of fresh, delicious juice. 100% natural. So thirsty. I think when we look back, UFC 156 will be one of those paradigm-shifting shows, where things were never the same again.
For example: here’s video highlights of Demian Maia absolutely dominating Jon Fitch like he hasn’t been dominated outside of the GSP fight. A big win over Fitch always propels the winner into ‘contention,’ so what now for Maia? Dana White said he will more than likely face one of the winners of the UFC 158 card. AKA Diaz vs. GSP, AKA UFC 158: Welterweight city.
