Hear What Max Holloway Said To Brian Ortega Immediately After The Fight Ends

Max Holloway And Brian Ortega Had One Hell Of A Fight At UFC 231

In case you missed the action, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway put on a fantastic performance for the ages last weekend in the main headliner of UFC 231, wrecking the previously-unbeaten Brian Ortega so viciously that the UFC doctors waved off the action in the fourth round. The dominant victory was 13th in a row for Holloway. In the wake of his great performance, many proclaim him the greatest featherweight to ever compete inside the Octagon.

UFC has just released a ‘thrill and agony’ video which shows the joy on Max Holloway’s face after a win and his family jumped with excitement. As well, you can see the agony on Ortega’s face who’s team came in to check on him after receiving brutal strikes from his opponent and his family who were sitting cage-side left in tears, as ‘T City’ tasted the first defeat of his MMA career.

Also, you can see a thrilling moment when former bantamweight title contender Valentina Shevchenko outclassed the former strawweight champion and won the first ever UFC title (women’s flyweight title). Of course, Joanna didn’t take that loss that easy, as she lost the bid of becoming a women’s GOAT.

After the conclusion of the fight, ‘Blessed’ approached Ortega’s corner to hug him and say, “Brian, that was one hell of a fight. I love you. We should be friends probably. We can be friends for sure.”
