Georges St-Pierre doesn’t feel that Kamaru Usman is unbeatable.

Usman is the reigning UFC Welterweight Champion. He and GSP have shown great respect towards one another. At times, “The Nigerian Nightmare” has looked flawless. Other times there have been chinks in the armor but he seems to always find a way to push through.

Kamaru Usman Not Invincible, Says GSP

During an interview with James Lynch of MMA News, Georges St-Pierre said there are a few 170-pounders who could give Usman a run for his money.

“Nobody is invincible. Everybody can be beat. It’s not the best fighter that wins the fight very often. It’s a question about the fighter that fights the best the night of the fight. There’s a lot of things that can influence the result of a fight. I believe there’s a lot of guys that can beat Usman.

“I do believe, personally, that Usman is the best right now in the division but that doesn’t mean that he is invincible. He needs to always stay on top of the game. It’s hard to be champion and it’s even harder to stay champion. I’m sure if you ask Usman he’ll tell you the same thing.

“He’s on a tear right now, he’s phenomenal but there’s a lot of guys that can give him a lot of trouble like Khamzat Chimaev. There’s a lot of guys that can give him a lot of trouble, Leon Edwards maybe.”

Welterweight GOAT Hasn’t Even Been Born

GSP went on to say that the welterweight GOAT can’t even be determined yet because he hasn’t been born yet.

“To tell you the truth, the greatest of all time is not born yet. As hard as it is to admit for anybody in the sport whether you’re a basketball player, a track and field runner, whatever it is, I’m under the impression that sport performance tends to get better with time. Not because necessarily the athletes are better, because the knowledge is better.”

The last time Usman fought, he faced Colby Covington, widely regarded as his toughest opponent. Usman won a unanimous decision for a second time in their rivalry. Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, the sport’s pound-for-pound king, has drawn the champion’s interest for future bouts.
