I’ll be the first to admit Dan Hardy is a serious threat to me. I would never intentionally place myself in a scenario in which Hardy can deliver an acronym to my face called ‘KTFO’. If by some strange occurrence I get out of bed one morning and step on Dan Hardy’s shoe…I wouldn’t even ask him what the hell he’s doing in my apartment. Not a chance. I would just immediately apologize and remind him that when we interviewed him he seemed like a pretty cool guy. Let’s be honest, Dan Hardy is a threat to anyone and Greg Jackson believes he’s a ‘legitimate serious threat’ to Georges St. Pierre.
“He has a lot of skills. He’s got really good power. The problem with guys like Dan Hardy is that he’s young, he’s hungry, he’s got very good skills and if he catches you the wrong way, you zig when you should have zagged and that might be it. Remember that Matt Serra was never considered a real threat to Georges. Everyone was laughing it off, then all of a sudden Georges was in a lot of trouble. So if you go into any fight thinking this guy is going to be easy, this guy is going to be a walkover, this isn’t a legitimate threat, it puts you in a place mentally where you aren’t going to train as hard, you’re not going to be as hungry and Hardy is a legitimate serious threat and needs to be treated as such.”
Despite how Georges St. Pierre tells us nobody can handle his ‘riddum’, Dan Hardy has said he will ‘knock out GSP’. Knock him out. I’m sure GSP isn’t really worried about these accusations but his ‘riddum’ probably has a few words to say about Dan Hardy. Georges St. Pierre’s ‘riddum’ wasn’t available for a press release, but the ‘riddum’ did have this to say: ‘Nobody can handle me‘. The ‘riddum’ must some intergalactic creature that fell from space and landed in GSP’s apartment. Nobody really knows what the ‘riddum’ is, but if you had it…you would probably start talking with a French-Canadian accent. [Source]
