Ciryl Gane Batters Tai Tuivasa After Surviving Knockdown – UFC Paris Results (Highlights)

Round 1

Gane opens up with some leg kicks. Tuivasa returns one of his own. Gane with a nice body kick. Tuivasa lands a nice counter but Gane eats it. Tuivasa is backing Gane up but is unable to land. Gane with a nice jab. He follows it up with a head kick that is partially blocked. Gane with a snap front kick to the body. Good opening round for Gane.

Round 2

Gane with some volume early on in the second. Tuivasa clips Gane with a left hook partially. Gane responds with a leg kick. Gane starts to establish a jab. He continues to punch and move out of the way as Tuivasa is showing some frustration. Tuivasa catches Gane with a right and drops him! Gane survives and hurts Tuivasa with a body kick. Gane continues to attack the body and look for the kill. Tuivasa survives now. Gane with some jabs and follows it up with a head kick that Tuivasa partially blocks.

Round 3

Things have slowed down as expected. Gane starts to pour on some volume with his kicks. Gane with a big body kick again. Gane with two big front kicks to the body. Gane then wobbles Tuivasa with a head kick! Tuivasa is hurt but strikes back! Gane starts to jab him up as he avoids Tuivasa’s overhands. Gane starts to land with much more efficiency. He continues to stab at Tuivasa’s body. Tuivasa is showing visible pain now. Gane catches Tuivasa with a huge uppercut and finishes the job as Tuivasa drops to the ground and the referee ends the contest.

Official Result: Ciryl Gane defeats Tai Tuivasa via knockout (R3, 4:24).
