When I met Sergio Mora yesterday, I attempted to explain how that when I lived in Europe, all of my international flatmates huddled around the laptop to watch every episode of The Contender. When I opened my mouth, it went more along the lines of ‘Dude, we used to watch your stuff illegally on laptops in our kitchen when I used to live in the UK.’ Sergio then started to tell me something about Ricky Hatton and then was whisked away by KJ Noons. It was perhaps the most awkward conversation I ever had with a boxer, but it was preceded by this brief interview — so in a sense, it was all worth it.
