Floyd Mayweather Shows Off His Own MMA Fighter

Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest boxers of all times. However, he is now promoting an MMA fighter, that he thinks is the best in the world.

Mayweather is known in combat sports for being a wonderful promoter. He reshaped what it means to promote oneself, and built his own brand. Subsequently, he knows how to share that promotion with others.

Mayweather expressed some interest in MMA, although not necessarily in competing. When he fought Conor McGregor, there were rumors that he would transition to MMA for another fight, on McGregor’s terms. However none of that came to fruition, although he did have an exhibition boxing match in ONE.

Despite his lack of competing in MMA, that does not deter him from dipping his toes in the mixed martial arts pool. Recently, Mayweather posted a video to Twitter, displaying who he called “the best MMA fighter in the world.” Here, you can see highlights of a fighter who appears to be competing under Mayweather’s TMT management.

Makhmud “Mach” Muradov is a 29 year old Middlweight, out of Uzbekistan. He currently holds a pro record of 22-6. Additionally he is on an 11 fight winning streak, dating back to 2016. However, of his 22 wins, 18 are finishes; 15 (T)KOs, and 3 submissions.

Currently, Muradov is fighting under the Okatgon MMA banner. Perhaps, if Floyd Mayweather has his way, it would not be long before he transitions to the UFC. Moreover, there are plenty of outlets for athletes like this to earn their shot, such as the Contender Series.

As for right now, Floyd Mayweather will be promoting his man overseas. It will be very interesting to see if he promotes any other MMA fighters in the future.
