New year, new Jake Paul?

The YouTuber-turned-boxer is looking to turn yet another leaf in his career in 2023. On Thursday, Paul announced he had signed with the PFL and that he will be making his MMA debut with the promotion.

Ferguson Offers To Train Paul

Paul’s move to MMA wouldn’t go unnoticed. It attracted the eyes of one Tony Ferguson. However, the former UFC interim lightweight champion isn’t looking to fight ‘The Problem Child’ like former UFC stars such as Anthony Pettis and Ben Askren. No, Ferguson has another proposition for Paul instead.

“Let me know when you need a good MMA coach @jakepaul,” Ferguson wrote on Twitter. “You can be one of my students- Champ -CSO- # KeepGrindin’Kid.”

While Ferguson may have seen better days in the Octagon, the upcoming MMA debutant Jake Paul could learn a thing or two from ‘El Cucuy’ who has had 33 MMA fights as a pro.

Before losing 5 fights in a row, the UFC veteran had a legendary run at lightweight. Ferguson went undefeated from 2013 to 2019, going on a 12-fight win streak with victories over the likes of Edson Barboza, Rafael Dos Anjos, Kevin Lee, and Anthony Pettis.

Tony Ferguson is likely not Jake Paul’s only option for an MMA coach, but he’s probably the most notable out of the bunch.
