ONE Championship 158 went down, and there might be a clear number one contender for the bantamweight champion.
No. 4 ranked bantamweight Fabricio Andrade just needed 62 seconds to deliver a fight-ending liver kick to No. 2 ranked Kwon Won II. It was a nasty kick, and his opponent fell to the ground; Andrade had to be pulled off by the referee as he pounced on him. He was awarded a $50,000 bonus.

After the fight, in his post-fight interview, he called out the bantamweight champion, John Lineker. Oh, and he called him a chicken.
“I have different power and speed. I knew I was going to finish him, and I know I’m going to finish John Lineker,” Andrade said Get ready, boy, you’re next. I have more wins than [Lineker] does at ONE Championship. I’m coming for you, John ‘Chicken’ Lineker. Don’t hide. You are next.”
Andrade is undefeated in ONE Championship and is riding a seven-fight win streak dating back to 2018.
Since being released by the UFC, Lineker has been on an absolute tear, knocking out three of his four opponents. He knocked out MMA legend Bibiano Fernandes to win the bantamweight title in his last outing.
Co-main
In the MMA co-main event of ONE Championship 158, Reece McLaren locked up a standing rear-naked choke and forced Wei Xie to tap in under a round, snapping the Chinese fighter’s three-fight finish streak. McLaren got back into the win column with his submission win.
