I get accused of using a lot of esoteric concepts and then sandwiching an MMA comparison in which I proclaim something to be the ‘greatest thing in the universe.’ It’s the ‘Blah, blah, universe, blah, blah’ theory, and it’s made MiddleEasy what it is today — a collection of entertaining nonsense. Blah, blah, universe, blah, blah. I even made tags and attached it to every shirt we sell on WorldOverEasy.com. It’s ridiculous, yes, but not as wild as the Aú Batido Showtime Pettis pulled against Shane Roller at WEC 50.
In the collection of extreme maneuvers we’ve seen pulled off within MMA in the past couple years, Pettis holds a handful of them — which is a handful more than 95% of all fighters in the sport. At this week’s UFC on FOX open workout, Pettis thought he would throw together everything he could in an attempt to make every videographer’s head explode — and it’s pretty damn amazing.
