DstryrSG | Get choked out from the back often? That’s OK. We’re here to help

[div class=”notice” class2=”icon”]The following is from an article on DstryrSG, part of the MiddleEasy Network.[/div]

In a world where your aggressive yet unskilled bravado and/or unawareness of inverted back-taking trickery leads to you falling prey to a rear naked choke and certain death … you must escape!  But, how, you ask?

Look, grappler.  No matter where you are on your BJJ journey, you’re going to end up having your back taken and you’re going to have to learn to relax and then get the hell out of there.  There are plenty of techniques designed to make that effort as simple and effective as possible.  Learn them all and practice them often.

Our broskis at Jits Mag once again come through with a short, sweet and clean technique for the back escape, this time by way of Bruninho, one of the main instructors at De La Riva headquarters in Rio de Janeiro (some place in Brasil, I think).  Go for it, Snake.
