Insert yet another call-out of Paddy Pimblett.

Dawson Is More Than Down To Fight Pimblett

In a sea full of lightweights wanting to fight the Liverpool star, lies Grant Dawson. Unbeaten in his last 11 fights, the rising Dawson believes he should be next in line for ‘The Baddy’.

In the midst of the holiday season, Dawson would make his campaign to fight Pimblett loud and clear.

“I would love to fight against Paddy,” Dawson told Millions.co.  “We are asking for that fight in London, March 18th [at UFC 286]. I will go to his home turf to fight him, and to prove that Scousers get knocked out.”

Back-Up Plans

Of course, a lot of fighters on the UFC roster such as Terrance McKinney are wanting to prove that point as well. That’s why ‘KGD’ has a ‘plan B’ and ‘plan C’ in case he doesn’t get the Pimblett fight, which involves two other big names in the lightweight division.

“If that doesn’t happen, I’m looking for Tony Ferguson,” Dawson added. “If that doesn’t happen, I’m looking for Dan Hooker. If that doesn’t happen, I don’t know what to tell you. Who else?”

Grant Dawson looks to add on to his already impressive resume which includes wins over Mark Madsen, Jared Gordon and Leonardo Santos.
