UFC CEO Dana White has revealed two big fights for the UFC 300 card.
Fight fans have been clamoring to see Jim Miller compete on the UFC 300 event, and they will get their wish. Dana announced that it’ll be Miller vs. Bobby Green for the historic card on April 13. That’s not all, however, as the UFC boss also revealed a major clash in the lightweight division. Current BMF champion Justin Gaethje will be going one-on-one with former UFC featherweight titleholder Max Holloway.
Dana White Drops Two UFC 300 Fight Announcements
During his announcement video, Dana White heaped praise on Gaethje and Holloway and discussed how highly regarded both men are in the standup.
“Fifty wins between them, 34 finishes, two of the best strikers in the sport, two of the most durable fighters in the sport, two of the most aggressive guys in the sport,” White said. “Gaethje destroys all guys with leg kicks and power in both hands. Max is regarded by many to be the best boxer in the UFC and has made many top 10 guys look like they don’t even belong there with him. Two of the all-time greats in their division, and this fight will be five rounds for the BMF title.”
As for the Miller vs. Green fight, White was also excited to talk about that one. He mentioned how Green hasn’t gone the distance in two years. He also reminded fans that this fight has been scheduled three times, but he’s hoping this one has better luck than Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson. Miller called his UFC 300 shot after choking out Gabriel Benitez at UFC Vegas 84.
UFC 300 will be held inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. A main event for the card has not been announced at this time.
