Dana White confirms the UFC will never allow women to fight in the octagon

Dana White confirms that the closest thing you will get to women fighting in MMA is if you grab a used copy of UFC: Sudden Impact and unlock Erica Montoya to compete in the lightweight division. For all of you who hoped ZUFFA would pick up a women’s division in the near future and host Gina Carano vs. Cris Cyborg II as the headliner on UFC 165, this interview from TMZ will serve as a harsh slap of reality, directly in the face. Dana White confirms that the UFC will never allow women inside the octagon, aside from scantily clad women holding up a piece of cardboard (and even then, they’re not technically in the octagon).
