Dana White Is Open To A Adesanya vs Jones Fight Down The Line

Israel Adesanya is set to face Robert Whittaker, in October. However if he gets past Whittaker, Dana White sees a big fight in his future.

Israel Adesanya is looking to remove the “interim” from his UFC Middleweight Championship, by taking on Robert Whittaker. This is no easy task for any person. Despite this, many people are looking ahead to a potential fight between he and Jon Jones.

The two have had a war of words as of late. Subsequently, UFC President Dana White had to give his thoughts on a future fight between these two. TMZ asked White if he has interest in making the fight.

I do. But you know, Israel needs to focus on [Whittaker]. He’s fighting a bad dude and he needs to worry about that fight.

I don’t know, we’ll find out. I mean, if he beats Robert Whittaker, he’s a very, very dangerous guy and a guy Jones needs to take serious.

Dana White makes a very good point. Israel Adesanya has quite the task ahead of him. However, if he can get past Robert Whittaker, a Jones fight could very well be looming.

It is clear that these two would like to face off against each other. Comparisons have been made between the two, since Adesanya’s arrival into the UFC. Additionally, there is some good heat there, with Jones insulting Adesanya, and Israel firing back.

All in all, a fight between these two could be very fun to watch. However, like Dana White said, we will have to see what happens.
