Curses. Rory MacDonald is injured and out of his rematch with Carlos Condit. Now what?

Dude! Dude. Dude. DudeAriel Helwani just let the world know that Rory MacDonald has injured himself and is out of his UFC 158 rematch with Carlos Condit and his return is un-freaking-known. This hurts doubly because we were looking forward to Rory displaying his new 2013 spring wardrobe to our fashion-deprived senses, and now that his guaranteed-to-be-rawesome fight against Carlos Condit has been violently thrown out, it’s left a Rory MacDonald-sized hole that someone, anyone needs to fill… With style. Don’t forget that part. Whoever takes this fight has to wear at least one dress sweater or what’s the point, really?

Who could it be? Tyron Woodley made it known to the world that he wanted to take on MacDonald or anyone else on this specific card if there was an injury, now it seems like T-Wood may have sent his number one fan on a ninja mission to get him up the ladder a little quicker (kidding).

Maybe T-wood faces Condit, maybe Tarec Saffiedine does. Maybe Frankie Edgar gets the call. What we do know is that this is a bummer.

*UPDATE: Johny Hendricks is now facing Carlos Condit with Jake Ellenberger left opponent-less and miffed.
